The employees at AW Laing Ltd are the key resource of the business. All staff are focused on successfully achieving the aims of your individual building project(s). All staff have many years of experience and training, and we trust you will enjoy working with them.
Lorraine – Office Manager
Lorraine has been working with AW Laing Ltd since 1986. She is the main reason for the smooth running of our busy office, and has a natural ability to communicate effectively with our customers, employee's and suppliers.
Sally – Receptionist / Admin
Having been with us for several years Sally brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the front office. With a helpful and professional manner liaising and co-ordinating with our site supervisors on Health & Safety matters and ensuring staff training is kept up to date. Sally also oversees the transport side of the business.
Lynn - Receptionist / Admin
Lynn joined the team in February 2020 and is the first point of contact for our busy office. Her friendly and professional manner is truly appreciated by all our customers, employees and suppliers whom are in regular contact with her. Lynn successfully completes a wide range of duties from invoicing, pricing enquiries and managing time records etc.
Norman – Operations Manager
Norman first started with AW Laing Ltd in 1983, and was a valued member of the team for 17 years, until he ventured to work abroad to broaden his experience. He has also worked in the Central belt of Scotland, and was promoted in 2011 to Operations Manager within AW Laing Ltd.
Norman is solution focused, and has the relevant knowledge, experience and key skills to effectively manage the responsibility of the daily running of all construction sites, projects and developments.
Louise– Kitchen Designer
Louise is very much a people person with a strong knowledge of kitchen appliances and products and having studied art in Aberdeen she possesses a true passion for good design. She is extremely creative and enthusiastic about every new kitchen.. no matter what the size and relishes the challenge of exceeding customer expectations with her attention to detail, quality materials coupled with A W Laings excellent workmanship but most importantly, delivering a value for money kitchen.
Davie - Project Manager
Davie has an HNC in Construction Management and has gained valuable experience over the years in the Construction Industry as Clerk of Works for Highland Council covering new builds and refurbishments and day to day maintenance of all council owned buildings. He spent two years with Landmarc Support Services covering all MOD establishments in the North Region as Building Services Manager before spending seven years as Maintenance Officer for Hanover (Scotland). Davie is used to working with people in teams and co-ordinating all relevant Health & Safety issues to ensure site/work safety is implemented.
